We know it is hard to make it every single Sunday so part of our mission is to enable a robust “tethered” community. We love it when people are here, but the heartbeat of Salt House extends far beyond what happens on Sunday mornings. And even though we believe that relationships thrive in circles (not rows), we also believe technology has enabled us to connect with one another in intentional ways. Below are a few ways we strive to nurture the tethered community. Technology can be amazing!
Our website is often the first experience folks may have with Salt House. We’re redesigning it to be oriented specifically toward folks who are checking out Salt House.
SALT HOUSE APP via Subplash
Our App is designed for engagement! Find easy access to sermon content, events, sign-ups, giving, blogs, music and more. Enable push notifications for reminders, encouragement, and invitations to respond.
We send out an e-mail once a week on Thursday mornings. We want to let you know what is happening in the coming days as well as a snapshot of the season ahead of us. There is also a specific email for Salt House Kids families. Sign up to receive our emails today!
SOCIAL MEDIA is a great way to share the developing Salt House story. We like to share the stories of what’s happening with our people, what’s going on with the Day Center, and celebrate what is going on in the world or what needs our attention beyond our community.
We use Facebook. A lot. Maybe you do to. If you like Salt House on Facebook, you can set your preferences to see Salt House posts first in your newsfeed. That will help keep you up to speed with all the happenings!
Salt House teaching and sermons are available in a variety of ways.
You can listen, watch, or read just about everything that we share.
We publish a sermon podcast (audio) to iTunes and which can also be brought into your favorite podcast app via RSS feed. If you prefer to read, we also publish transcripts of sermons on our website: www.salthousechurch.org/sermons
Catch live sermons at (or around) 10:15am on Sunday mornings. When you know you can’t be here tune in to our live stream on the Salt House Facebook page. Interact and ask questions! We’re there with you. Also, catch up if you missed a Sunday.
