Salt House is hosting our first ever Party Game From Home Night - hosted by Sean Mobley.
Don't live in Seattle? That's fine! We'll be playing some games streamed live from our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/salthouse425) so all you'll need are two screens: one to watch the game, and one to play along on Jackbox.tv. The whole thing will be virtual, so don't come to Salt House as no one will be here. Bring your trivia brain, because we'll be putting it to the test. There is no limit to the number of players, so feel free to invite friends.
How will it work?
There are a few game companies out there which create games that are designed for streaming. Players participate by punching in a code on their phones and joining the virtual room where it's happening. Trivia questions, pictionary prompts, etc., are beamed to your phone from the game and your answers are sent back and put on the screen.
What do I need?
You'll need two screens with internet/data access. We will be streaming the actual game on our Facebook page, so one screen will need to be right here on our page so you know what is going on. On your second screen you'll head to Jackbox.tv and enter the information from our stream to join our room and play along. An example setup would be a computer pointed to Facebook and your cell phone on the Jackbox.tv site.
Where do I need to be?
Wherever you want! This is an awesome opportunity for people who don't live near Salt House to join in some fun with us. Got family members living across the country, perhaps a sibling in the upper Midwest and parents out on the Eastern Seaboard? They can play along to if they can stand the time difference. Used to attend Salt House but moved too far away? Log in and play along! Just don't actually come down to Salt House, because the building will be closed. This is all virtual.
