Join us on Sunday, Dec. 15 for the first ever SALT HOUSE NATIVITY PLAY!
Does your child want to participate? Here's what you need to know:
ALL kids are welcome. There are enough parts for everyone! Speaking, not-speaking, singing, sitting, small, big, etc. There's a wide variety!
We will practice some of the songs on Sundays, but your child will still need to practice at home. Children with speaking parts will also need to work on memorizing lines at home. Don't worry! The play is made for kids, so lines are short and rhyming (easy to memorize). Materials and resources will be handed out in mid-November.
There will be a rehearsal after service on December 8th.
If needed, I may schedule an extra rehearsal for the lead parts and singers -- I will communicate later with those families to make sure it works for everyone.
There will be a short rehearsal before service on December 15th.
Performance is Dec. 15th (the 3rd Sunday of Advent) during service. Everyone is welcome!
Let me (Rachel) know if you have any questions! And if this sounds like fun to you, please stop by the SHK desk over the next couple weeks to let your kid's sign-up!
If you want to help with the Nativity Play, send me a mail! I could always use help with sets, props, costumes, and (or course) working with the kids :)
