JOIN US FOR WORSHIP AT SALT HOUSE
HERE WE ARE:
11920 NE 80th St.
Kirkland, WA 98033
If you’re joining us for the first time, please know that you are welcome here. And not just welcomed, but completely affirmed — no matter what. If you want to know a little more about what it means to be welcomed and affirmed at Salt House, just check out this blog post.
Our parking lot has limited space due to construction of the New Eastside Shelter for Women and Families. There is a good amount of street parking available on 120th Avenue. We’ve also encouraged regular attenders at Salt House to utilize some other parking alternatives in order to leave space for guests and folks with limited mobility.
WHAT TO EXPECT: COFFEE + KIDS + CONNECTIONS
You will be welcomed by a friendly face and an invitation to participate on whatever level is comfortable for you.
Coffee and Tea are available in our lobby. You are more than welcome to bring it with you into our sanctuary space. And when we eat a meal together, please pull up a chair and dig in. Even (and especially) if you didn’t bring anything to the potluck.
Kids ages 0-4 can check-in and dropped off at our nursery and will be cared for by our amazing staff and capable volunteers. Elementary aged kids ages 5-10 can be signed in and join you in the sanctuary space for the first 10-15 minutes of our worship service. They will be dismissed to go with our Salt House Kids leader, Rachel. If you or you child would like to stay in the sanctuary the entire time, that is perfectly fine.
You’ll get a worship booklet with general info about Salt House and materials for the morning’s experience.
We’ll sing together, spend sometime in conversation, pray, hear words from scripture, experience excellent preaching and storytelling, and have an opportunity to engage in at least one of our core practices.
We have communion every Sunday and everyone is invited. We practice open communion at Salt House which means you don’t have to be a member at Salt House (or any church) to participate. If you feel led, you are absolutely welcome to receive communion. Our bread is allergen-free and we serve both wine and non-alcoholic grape juice.
After worship, join us for a meal, conversation, more coffee, and an opportunity to receive prayer with someone on our care or pastoral team.
We don’t have a dress code, so whatever you’re comfortable wearing is perfect for coming to Salt House.
