WHAT TO EXPECT
WHEN YOU COME TO
WORSHIP AT SALT HOUSE.
We gather regularly at
10:00 A.m. on SundayS
Worship at Salt House is designed to be an experiment; trial and error, full of the sacred and flavored with sometimes silly things that happen when make human plans in an effort to engage with the divine. We are not perfect people and we worship in imperfect ways, but we want to trust in God's leading.
Here are some things you can expect when you come to worship at Salt House
Music helps us orient ourselves. Learn as you go + sing as you feel comfortable. We use modern music and practices informed by the church's historical and liturgical traditions.
We teach through an interactive time of engaging the countless intersections between the Bible + Jesus + our lives + our world.
Reflection + Response
A quiet moment with music, prayer, listening to God + choosing a response for now or the week to come.
As Jesus showed us, we take bread + dip it in wine to remember God’s generosity and presence with + in us.
Salt House Kids
Salt House Kids is our Sunday School available during worship for children. Elementary age kids start in worship each week. Nursery age kids (0-4) can be dropped off before service begins. The first Sunday of each month is
oriented for kids’ participation. Children are always invited to stay in the sanctuary space for
worship. More info here.
Opportunities to THRIVE
Engage with community. We want to encourage people to thrive in their lives, especially by engaging with one another.
Opportunities to GO
Engage the needs of the world. We want to encourage people to live beyond themselves taking Jesus' words to "GO" to heart.
God is generous with us + we respond by intentionally living generous lives. It’s easy to support God’s work through Salt House. Text your donation to 84321 or check out other giving options on our Giving Page.
